Terrasan Process

The treatment process begins with the influent from the source. The water collected is pumped first to a supply tank. A pump (with a backup installed) and related piping is included in the installation package. The supply tank is fitted with level gauges for alarms and shut-off switches to operate the system automatically. (Physical inspection of the site will determine if a supply tank is required.)

A process logic controller (PLC) is fitted with a touch screen interface. Under normal operation the system is fully automatic and senses water quality, automatically adjusting for pH and disinfectant levels.

In the event water effluent is not equal to or better than the programmed standard, the system has a three-way valve controlled by the computer, which automatically returns the effluent back to the head of the system. This allows the system a chance to re-adjust and insure full treatment of all of the discharged fluids.
